Recently I won a stipend from the Konung Carl XVI Gustafs 50-årsfond för vetenskap, teknik och miljö. I received 100,000 SEK to study the impacts of climate change on the Swedish black guillemot population.

I, with help of others, already started to locate populations and we found approximately 80 individuals during our first scan of the islands along the coast of Umeå . We put out some nest-boxes in the hope that they will be used by the black guillemots. More to come later!
